Pearform

Terms of service

Effective date: 24 September 2026

1. Scope and contact

Pearform is developed and operated by Kristian Kähkönen personally, as an individual developer based in Finland (the developer). These terms apply between the developer and the person using the Pearform Android app (the user). If you have any questions or need support, you can contact the developer at [email protected].

2. Using Pearform

Pearform is a habit tracker. The free version remains usable without Premium. Premium adds optional features described in the app before purchase.

The user receives a personal licence to use Pearform on Android devices they own or control. The user must not use the app unlawfully or copy, sell, modify or reverse-engineer it, except as permitted by law or applicable third-party licences. The app's code, name and artwork belong to the developer or their respective rights holders.

Pearform relies on Android to schedule and display notifications. Device settings, permissions, battery restrictions or technical errors may delay or prevent reminders. The user must not rely on Pearform for emergency alerts, critical medication reminders or other situations where a missed or delayed reminder could cause harm.

Parental or guardian consent must be obtained where required by law.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases are processed through Google Play under Google Play's Terms of Service. Prices and billing periods are shown before purchase.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the agreed price until cancelled in Google Play. Cancellation stops the next renewal; Premium remains available until the end of the paid period. Uninstalling Pearform does not cancel a subscription.

If offered, a free trial becomes a paid subscription at the displayed price unless cancelled before it ends. Trial eligibility follows the offer conditions shown in Google Play.

Lifetime is a single payment for Premium access, with no recurring charge or scheduled expiry. Purchases are linked to the purchasing Google account. The user can use Restore purchases in the app when using that account on another device.

When a subscription expires, Pearform returns to the free version without deleting the user's app content.

The developer may also provide temporary access codes that activate Premium for a stated period. An access code has a limited number of uses, may expire or be revoked, is non-transferable and has no cash value.

The user can request a refund through Google Play or contact the developer. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights remain unaffected.

4. App data and backups

App content is stored on the user's device. No Pearform account is needed. The developer's server is used only to redeem access codes and holds no app content. Android automatic backup is enabled and may store a cloud copy when device backup is turned on. The developer cannot access that backup.

The user can also make manual backups. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes local app data, but does not necessarily delete cloud backups or exported copies. Android may restore backed-up data after reinstallation. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

5. Errors and consumer rights

The developer cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The developer remains responsible for defects and remedies required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights.

6. Changes to these terms

Updated terms will be published at pearform.app/terms with a new effective date. Existing purchases remain governed by the terms accepted at purchase unless a change is required by law or agreed with the user. Material changes will be explained in advance, with any statutory cancellation and refund rights preserved.

7. Law and disputes

Finnish law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections in the user's country of residence.

The user may contact the developer about a dispute and seek assistance from the Consumer Advisory Services and the Consumer Disputes Board. The user's right to bring a claim before a competent court remains unaffected.
